This course contains 22 lessons divided into 3 learning modules: Foundations, Handling a Subpoena, and Testifying. The training provides practical tips (e.g., how to dress for the courtroom; how to respond during cross-examination) and detailed instruction about potential pitfalls that lead mental health professionals into ethical trouble or licensure board complaints, and how to avoid them. The training will help install a sense of confidence about handling subpoenas and testifying in legal proceedings. The Course contains supplemental materials in the form of customizable templates, checklists, case timeline templates for use during testimony, worksheets, and more.

Refund Policy: Due to the on-demand nature of the course, refunds must be requested in writing within 24 hours of having access to the course. Refunds will be made less a 15% administrative fee and applicable credit card/merchant fees which are typically non-refundable.

Course Requirements: You are expected to watch all videos, read all written learning materials, and pass a quiz for each of the three modules with a minimum score of 80%. You also will complete a course evaluation. Once you have satisfactorily passed the quizzes and completed the course evaluation, you can download your certificate of completion. You will need a computer and internet connection with the ability to stream videos and view/print PDF files.
